Halt prophesies of doom from coming to pass with prayer
The king of Aram tries (& fails) to war with Israel, 2 Kings 6:8-23
“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled…” —Hebrews 12:14-15
Something very important that is easy to forget: many (perhaps nearly all) of Brandon’s prophesies can be (and have been) halted with prayer. The main purpose of his channel is to pray that the prophesies never come to fruition.
Prayer is our most powerful tool — it makes a real difference in the real world.
The reality of the reality: God looks down on no one
But it’s very easy to get trapped into positioning oneself as someone’s enemy on reflex (whether out of fear, or due to being susceptible to the diabolical whisperings of an Iago), even when we don’t want to, making rational solutions difficult to see.
In Ukraine’s case, for example, it could have remained neutral and continued to trade with both east and west. There was no urgency (or real possibility) to join NATO or the EU since they didn’t and don’t meet the requirements to join. Maybe by some miracle they will walk it back and reach for a future worthy of them.
There is no need to ever consider anyone an enemy; pray that the plans of anyone delusional enough to imagine themselves to be our enemy would be consistently blocked, and they will be.
Can you imagine an element on the periodic table being considered anathema? Or a particular gemstone? It exists because it has a unique God-given purpose in the universe, just like every soul. But there are many human cultures that cling to many illusions and don’t yet acknowledge the deepest truths, eternal and unchanging.
God looks down on no one. God understands what each person is up against. Turn to God and ask for help and guidance and divine wisdom.
“With malice toward none, with charity for all.” —Abraham Lincoln’s 2nd Inaugural address
But if people refuse to open themselves to God’s all-encompassing love and harmonious will for us, 5 great shakings will occur: politics, the church, Earth’s crust, finances, and in the heavens, Brandon says. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken until we learn to live in truth.
This is just God getting our attention so he can redeem us because the time is short. It’s not God’s judgment yet. Judgment is eternal separation from God.
The king of Aram tries (& fails) to war with Israel
2 Kings 6:8-23
In the second book of Kings, chapter 6, the king of Aram [in Syria] was angered that his war plans were thwarted by Elisha the prophet, so he sent an army during the night to surround Elisha’s city of Dothan.
When Elisha’s servant awoke at dawn he saw that chariots and became afraid.
16 “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
18 As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, “Strike this army with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked. 19 Elisha told them, “This is not the road and this is not the city. Follow me, and I will lead you to the man you are looking for.” And he led them to Samaria.
20 After they entered the city, Elisha said, “Lord, open the eyes of these men so they can see.” Then the Lord opened their eyes and they looked, and there they were, inside Samaria.
21 When the king of Israel saw them, he asked Elisha, “Shall I kill them, my father? Shall I kill them?”
22 “Do not kill them,” he answered. “Would you kill those you have captured with your own sword or bow? Set food and water before them so that they may eat and drink and then go back to their master.” 23 So he prepared a great feast for them, and after they had finished eating and drinking, he sent them away, and they returned to their master. So the bands from Aram stopped raiding Israel’s territory.
