“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” —Matthew 7:7-8
Healing Meditation
Sit quietly, comfortably and breathe deeply. Decide to set aside all worries, all thoughts to focus on this meditation at this time.
Before beginning, ask God to forgive you for anything that may be separating you from God, anything you may have done or failed to do and determine to correct it now. Accept peace and mercy in your heart and know you are forgiven. This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it!
Now imagine a pitcher of rose colored liquid. Notice the beautiful, luxurious color. Imagine pouring the rose liquid into your crown chakra at the top of your head. Let it fill your chakras one by one, filling each with healing. Take your time with each. Feel the great love the universe has for you. Feel how totally supported you are in this moment and always by all of life.
Focus on the rose color filling your 6th chakra of intention in your forehead, your connection with the divine. Soak it in. Then when you’re ready, let it fill your 5th chakra of your throat, your ability to speak and make your needs known. Next, let it fill your 4th chakra of your heart, love for self and others. Next, let it fill your 3rd chakra of your solar plexus or power center. Then, let it fill your 2nd chakra, the sacral chakra of creativity and emotions. Then, let it fill your 1st root chakra of survival and being. Let the love expand in each chakra, clearing any blocks. Receive this healing. Observe yourself and listen to any messages your body may have for you.
Then close the meditation by taking time to listen to your heart. Do you feel more relaxed? Enjoy soaking in the beautiful rose color and let it heal your life and bring clarity to your actions. Remember, the purpose of meditation is to you allow it recharge your batteries so you can take action in the world…even if the action is as simple as sending out prayers and good wishes to others and moving toward your best self.
