Joni Lamb & the slave/slave master psychological configuration

And the power of intention

Funny but true story. Two of them. I was nearly attacked by a bobcat (or bobcat mix) walking through a park with others. I saw it poised to strike me and prayed silently -- "Out! In Jesus' name!" Everyone noticed the bobcat turned aside and ran up the nearest tree, suddenly afraid of me! 

That's the predator-prey paradigm at work. Wild animals in particular are unable to break out of it. They are hidebound. But humans can fall into that paradigm too, as in war time. 

Whole civilizations have been based on the predator-prey paradigm, even in times of peace, like slave/slave master societies. Hundreds of years after slavery ostensibly ended, the self-debasing mindset persists even as former slave masters (and the masses who imitate them, adopting their world view) insist nothing is wrong. They don't even see how they put themselves beneath everything: beneath money, beneath notions of "success", beneath arbitrary rules of all sorts, etc. They feel they have no value at all unless x, y, z. But this gives them clay feet and far less resilience than people from other more realistic/ancient cultures.

What's going on right now at Daystar Christian Broadcasting network is a good example of "Slave Master Syndrome" and looks like "Omnipotent Billionaire's Syndrome" or "Jezebel Syndrome" and its many manifestations, yet to be included in the DSM psychological handbook of mental disorders. (Psychology is yet in its infancy.)

The owner and founder of the network, Joni Lamb of South Carolina, now based near Dallas, treats her only son, former vice president of the network Jonathan Lamb, as if he were her personal slave, even repeatedly claiming to be "the voice of God to him." Although he did everything right, Joni Lamb was angry that he was not yet willing to go on the air and read a statement condoning Joni Lamb's re-marriage shortly after losing her husband, co-founder of Daystar Marcus Lamb. Rather than respect her children's grieving over their father, Joni Lamb went into full slave master mode with un-American activities like illegal surveillance and tracking her son's car, telling terrible lies about him and his wife, demanding he sign an NDA, and even cutting off his livelihood by firing him from Daystar, apparently intending to completely finish off him and his family. 

But Jonathan is proving to be a strong man of God. After fleeing Texas with his small family, Jonathan revealed that Joni Lamb also hatched a conspiracy to cover up the s.a. of his little daughter by a family member. The Spiritual History
It's worth remembering that the slave ships brought in African slaves mostly to S. Carolina, and you can bet the first thing the captives did when they arrived was to curse S. Carolina and its people. It didn't help that many of the first residents of the state were convicts (felons) shipped from England. In fact, all 9 of the original American colonies outside of New England were penal colonies to some degree (not just Georgia, as we learned in school) due the explosion of England's prison population. 

So it's no surprise that long before the Civil War, S. Carolina was the first state to threaten to secede from the Union, and became the first state to actually secede, precipitating our devastating Civil War from which I would argue we have yet to recover and reunite as one nation in spirit and in truth, particularly since exacerbating the divisions proves to be so politically advantageous. 

Meanwhile, other slave nations like England rationally transitioned to a slave-free economy by compensating slave owners. 

The captives' curses appear to be very active to this day, causing endless interpersonal, institutional, and national problems. (Statistics bear this out about the South in general.) But the root of the real problem has remained largely hidden until now. 

In these last days before the Tribulation it's time to pray that we can address, heal and banish the spiritual forces that plague us so that egotistical Jezebel-type mothers, fathers, bosses and politician stop mistreating their own constituents, employees, family members, and especially their own children! For this reason, I feel everyone deserves Reparations, since everyone suffers harm (whether they realize it yet or not) under so cruel a system.
