Ancient Prayer Techniques: Ushering In the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth
The whole human problem is a lack of love
Many, many spiritual practices and tips for getting closer to God have been lost over the centuries, including even major traditions like the long-revered tradition of the HERMIT, which American preachers seem to have never heard of. (Scroll to the end of this post to read more about this tradition.)
Here are some helpful ways to approach prayer so that you can grow spiritually and overcome trauma and karma, and transcend our mortal earth-bound condition. I hope you find it helpful and am praying for each and every you each day.

Prayer Session
The prophets knew how to pray, how to listen. We must learn how to pray too. Give yourself enough time, 4 hours if you feel called.
Come to God in prayer—steadfast Don’t worry if you can’t pray at the same time everyday or if you can only devote 10 minutes or one hour. The important thing is to be steadfast in coming to prayer when you can.
Make yourself available to God
Open your heart, open your suffering to me
Share your troubles
Recognize the limits of your love, bridge the distance—the whole human problem is a lack of love
Light out of darkness
Lift God up, radical love
Offering to the Lord — consciously make holy offerings such as kindness when it’s hard to be kind, consciously bringing joy into every situation, giving of your talents, giving of yourself in every task. Be willing to break out of the ordinary modes of existence.
Explore the pieces of your life — here you will find the lessons you haven’t yet learned, every person who comes into your life has a precious gift in the form of a lesson for you. Every lesson boils down to: love and fully embrace God, your neighbor and yourself because everything in the universe is perfect as it was created. When you’ve learned how to truly love every part of yourself you will have compassion on one another, and the suffering of God’s people will end. This will mark the beginning of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. The Bible tells us explicitly that there will be no more suffering, marriage, or broken human institutions on earth -- we will finally have returned to Eden, but this time with a full knowledge of good and evil.
Hydration is very important, especially when praying in the Holy Spirit, particularly once you feel it raising your physical vibration. Get plenty of fresh water to drink.
