Wherever there is prestige, there are counterfeiters. Particularly in the South and other places where Christianity is still revered, there are many false prophets and false teachers of God’s word, maybe 9 out of 10 if not more. False prophets tell people what they want to hear, such as that things are going to get better and better, even though scripture says the opposite about the last days. Or else they market fear to the people to keep them trapped in the current polarized paradigm without bringing them any closer to transformation and God’s redemption.
