Why Princess Catherine's Engagement Ring Belongs In a Museum
The Potential Dangers of Wearing Diamonds & Sapphires
Even if Lady Diana’s ring had not had its less-than-ideal history, it would not be a good choice for an engagement ring. It is absolutely beautiful, but its designer did not seem to be aware of the energies of sapphires and their dangers, particularly considering that an engagement/wedding ring is worn daily.
One idea is for Princess Catherine, a Capricorn, to make a modified replica of this ring correcting potential energetic problems: a square sapphire set in silver would be much better, particularly as she recovers.
The ring has achieved its own iconic status and will go down in the history of jewels. How wonderful to be able to see it along with other amazing jewels in a place like the British Museum.
Beautiful Blue SAPPHIRE
Sapphire is a very hard substance. Mental clarity and prosperity are among its positive effects.
In Medieval Europe, they were believed to protect against fraud, treason and the plague.
But ancient Hindu tradition & Vedic astrology hold that great care needs to be taken before wearing sapphires. Their effect can be felt in as soon as 1 day.
Beware: Wearing a sapphire can cause 2 basic problems. (1) Anxiety from over-stimulation. (2) An allergic skin reaction.
The setting and shape of the stone and your astrological sign must be taken into account:
Sapphire set in gold is not considered harmonious with the energies of the gemstone. The qualities of sapphire blend much better with silver or iron.
A square-shaped sapphire is much better for the energies of the gemstone than round or oval shapes, which tend to magnify the energy even more.
Aries, Cancer, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius and Pisces should never wear sapphires.
To err on the side of caution, wear it only when going out, then go home and put it away.
People especially in the West may balk at the concept that jewelry can affect our moods, but think of it as a radio in your room that is getting bad reception — maybe two stations are coming in at one time. You may be OK with it for a time, but eventually you just wanna fix it or turn that thing off! It has a subtle but very real affect.
DIAMONDS are Unique, but Not For Everyone
Our culture considers diamond very special. Diamonds are the hardest substance on earth, and are very expensive. They represent the planet Venus — love & beauty. But most people don’t know, diamonds are not beneficial to everyone.
Who wears diamonds best? Taurus, Virgo and Libra.
Beware: According to Hindu tradition, there are 4 things to be cautious about with diamonds: (1) people with diabetes and/or problems with their blood should not wear diamonds. (2) Diamonds are for people in the prime of their lives (roughly ages 20 to 60). (3) Diamonds — our symbol of marital devotion — are thought to exacerbate a bad marriage. (4) Aries, Pisces and Scorpio should avoid diamonds altogether.
When choosing a diamond, white diamonds are best. Also, avoid broken diamonds.
There is a long-standing traditionally that diamonds are to be worn only at night. This minimizes potential problems.
Sapphires are also found throughout the Bible, including in the breast plate of the high priest in the temple in Jerusalem, and in the New Heaven & New Earth. The Bible concludes as it began, with our planet in pristine condition after all evil has been conquered and God's will is at last done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
